Church

In a world that has many religions to include Christianity, there are several beliefs, doctrines, and ideas.  Some of them seem to change with the time and/or generations, however, we believe that a Christian Church that is relevant must have uncompromising beliefs as the foundation of its existence and we must be unified together and support those beliefs.

God

We Believe There Is One God

By Him were all things created.  He is all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, unchanging, and perfect.
(Deut 32:39; 1st Sam 2:2; Is 44:8; Mk 12:32; Lk 18:19; 1st Cor 8:6, 12:18)

Bible

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative word of God.

The Holy Spirit inspired the writers of the Old and New Testaments pointing to Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.
(2nd Tim 3:16; 2nd Pet 1:20-21; Prov 30:5; Rom 16:25-26)

Jesus

We believe that Jesus, being in the nature of God, born of a virgin, gave up his divine privileges and the left the comfort of heaven taking on the humble position of a servant to be born into the chaos and corruption of fallen humanity.

He lived innocently, died unjustly, and rose again to conquer sin and death providing a way for man to be eternally reconciled to God.

We are a church where making mistakes is not frowned upon but rather viewed as an opportunity. We are a church where inclusion and diversity is a right and not a suggestion, regardless of your race or ethnicity. We are a church where Jesus Christ is viewed through the lens of an individual relationship and not the burden of a religious legal perspective. We are a church where Jesus Christ is Lord Period.

We are a church that believes that Christianity is who we are and not something we do. We are a church that believes that Jesus sacrificed his life that we can live a rich and satisfying life. We are a church that believes where you are today in life is not necessarily where you will be in the future. We are a church that believes in order to have a rich and satisfying life we must give to others, share with others, and make an impact in others’ lives while being relevant in our community.

Meet the Pastors

Pastors Keith & Stephanie Jones
Keith and Stephanie Jones have called Ohio home for the past 5 years. Here they are investing their lives into the Central Ohio area sharing the hope of Jesus and a motivation to live purpose-filled lives! The message they have is simple, “Not Just Church, But Life”, meaning church attendance is important in spiritual growth; however outside of the church doors how are you going to apply what God has instilled in you.
Having 20 years of experience in ministry they embrace church as a diverse, energetic, fun and Jesus centered culture. Keith and Stephanie along with their team are excited about what lies ahead for The Purpose Center Church because their passion for helping people is contagious and essential in the development of spiritual growth in purposed driven disciples.
Keith and Stephanie do not take the importance of a solid family structure in ministry for granted; therefore, this is why they are grateful to have the support of their three amazing children Phyllica, Keith II, and Tyler, which are Keith and Stephanie’s greatest accomplishments.
